Title. What computers(not sensors) are required to "plug n' play" a GRC engine into a project car? I figure it's the ecu, the immobilizer, the security key module, and the key. Is there anything I'm missing? Do i need the network gateway or the physical push button, ect.?
More info: i ruined the ecu in my GRC and would rather buy all the components out of a wrecked GRC than deal with my local dealer. I know all they have to do is hook it up to techstream, but 1) I don't trust them not to scam me. 2) I paid 200 for them to use techstream and they said the new to me computer doesn't work (I tested it, it works fine) 3) it's on principal at this point. 4) it'd be interesting to know.
